For practice cancellation information, please call the Loudoun County Parks & Rec Sports Cancellation Hotline at 703-777-0456.   If the message says that "all fields are closed" at Franklin Park, practice is cancelled.

For game cancellations, ULYFL has signed up again with www.rainedout.com in an effort to help get the word out quickly to parents and coaches should it need to cancel practices or games due to inclement weather.  Those who sign up will receive a text message on their cell phone (Blackberry, pager, PDA or other device) and/or an email letting them know about cancellations or delays.

To sign up, simply go to www.rainedout.com, search for Upper Loudoun Football, and sign up from there.  You must re-register every year.  Registration is free, easy, and takes about sixty seconds to complete.

Please remember that some phone carriers charge a fee for text messages.  If you don't send or receive texts regularly, you might want to take a look at your plan.  If you've never figured out how to work that function on your phone, ask your child.  They'll certainly know how!
